The Oakland Park development team is excited to welcome two new sales associates to the community, Allan Altman and Valencia Justice of The Marketing Directors. Oakland Park, at 563 Memorial Drive in Atlanta, is a joint venture project between Atlanta’s Urban Realty Partners and Melaver, Inc., a sustainable real estate developer based in Savannah, Ga. Oakland Park is the first multi-family housing project in Atlanta to receive LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. In their newly appointed positions, Altman and Justice will represent Oakland Park to new condominium shoppers.
“Allan and Valencia bring many years of sales experience to Oakland Park,” said Simon Tuohy, Financial Officer and Development Associate for Urban Realty Partners and project manager for Oakland Park. “These two extraordinary associates are valuable additions to our team. Interested buyers will be thoroughly impressed with the first-class customer service provided by these award winning associates.”
Altman brings eight years of sales experience to Oakland Park. He spent seven of those years with Century 21 Dwellings, formerly Dwellings Real Estate. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Georgia Association of Realtors and was named a Top Sales person for seven years, was a part of Century 21's Top Selling Team in 2007 and received their Centurian Award in 2006 and Emerald Award in 2007.
Justice brings seven years of sales experience to Oakland Park. Her background also includes several years of administrative and office management experience. Prior to Oakland Park, Justice spent two years at Century 21 Dwellings alongside Altman. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Georgia Association of Realtors.
The Marketing Directors, Inc., has been the leading marketer and exclusive sales agent for residential property since 1980, selling more than $20 billion of real estate, one home at a time. The company has received numerous awards and recognitions from industry associations such as The Institute of Residential Marketing (IRM), and The National Sales & Marketing Council (NSMC) of the National Association of Home Builders. The company has won more than fifty Silver and Gold IRM awards for excellence including Best Marketed Project of the Year twelve times since 1984. The six-story Oakland Park building is remarkable because of the “forever views” of the Atlanta skyline that can be seen across Oakland Cemetery, and because of the care taken by developers to create an environmentally friendly building. The developers made sound decisions that resulted in a more efficient construction site, with very little waste going to the landfill, and in a high performance building that will use less energy over time. Bamboo floors, oversized, operable, low-emittance windows, eco-friendly tile and paint, high-performance plumbing fixtures and energy efficient appliances are the interior hallmarks of Oakland Park, which features 65 one and two bedroom residences and 6,400 square feet of street-front retail.
Oakland Park includes Foxgloves and Ivy floral design studio, Stella Neighborhood Trattoria restaurant, and will include additional retail fronting Memorial Drive and Park Avenue. For more information, call 404-688-0300 or visit www.oaklandparkatlanta.com.
